This collection gives you everything you need to get off to a good start and learn fast. There aren't too many good books for the utter drum set beginner, but when I first wanted to learn, I decided to trust the ForDummies brand, and sure enough Drums for Dummies did not disappoint. I therefore included it as the only book in this package. But, since visual lessons are crucial to a good understanding of the drum set, the two DVDs make great companions to the book.
