How To Make Product PowerLinks

Product PowerLinks take your visitors directly to a specific product page at Music 44. This can be an extremely effective marketing strategy if you recommend or identify specific books or products at your website. Product PowerLinks can be text or image links, but we suggest that you use both together for maximum impact.

For example, suppose you have a music website about the band Creed. You could show 3 separate links to that band’s 3 album songbooks, "My Own Prison", "Human Clay", and "Weathered." Furthermore, you could use the songbook covers for image links and incorporate the titles into text links as shown in the following example:

How to create a Product PowerLink:

1. Login to your Affiliate Account to insure that your Affiliate ID number is automatically inserted into the HTML script for you.
2. Navigate to the product page you wish to link to. Read the SearchTool at the left side of the page in order to find the product code. Copy the product code to your computer's clipboard.
3. Click the link below to go to the HTML LinkGenerator. In the "Method" drop-down menu, "Product Codes" will be pre-selected.
4. In the "Keyword" textbox, paste the product code of step 2.
5. If you leave the "Image URL" empty, the product image will be used by default for an image link. Otherwise, enter another Image URL if you want a different image used.
6. Click the "Make Link Now" button.
7. The HTML script is displayed first for the text link and second for the image link. Copy and paste the script to your webpage.
