What Is Residual Commission?

Residual Commission is the commission you earn when we sell one of your Music ValuePacks to an un-referred customer. An un-referred customer is one who navigates to the Music 44 website without previously visiting one of our affiliate websites. Un-referred customers typically find Music 44 via search engines, pay-per-click advertisements, or browser bookmarks.

When such a sale is made, the commission you earn is said to be Residual Commission rather than Standard Commission. Both commission types are a percentage of the order total - excluding freight and sales tax, etc. The Commissions Table shows the percentage rates of both types.

The Standard Commission percentage rate is greater than the Residual Commission percentage rate. But in order to earn Standard Commission, a customer must first visit your affiliate website before placing an order at Music 44. On the other hand, you only have to create a Music ValuePacks once in order to earn Residual Commission from its sales for years to come.
