All the part books in this collection contain the melody plus one of three harmony parts, making the arrangements very versatile and suitable for many combinations of instruments. These pieces may be performed by band or orchestra as well as a multitude of smaller ensembles. For example, a woodwind choir will work alone as will a brass choir or a string quartet. Duets may be performed by combining any instruments with parts 1 and 2, and trios may be performed by any combination of instruments that include parts 1, 2 and 3. An interesting concert can be created using just the arrangements in this collection by interspersing full ensemble performances with duets and trios.
