About The Author: Sarah Pope is a viola player, violinist, teacher and writer who has spent some 10 years as a full-time member of symphony orchestras in New Zealand and Wales. She is a regular tutor with the National Children's Orchestra, teaches enthusiastic "late starter" string players at The City Lit and is a mentor for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music teacher training program.
