The handchimes play the second stanza in a slightly slower tempo, with the tune alternating between the upper and lower treble chimes. The piece’s final portion takes on an almost Celtic feel with a lilting, dancing section in 6/8 time, including malleted bass bells and a variety of techniques in the treble, with an upbeat and joyous ending.
