Ludovico Einaudi is a contemporary composer from Italy, whose albums have been a phenomenal success in Europe. A student of Luciano Berio, Einaudi moved from early works in more traditionally classical veins (chamber music and orchestra) to his current work in film scores and solo piano material (his piano recitals are consistently sold out.) He has even worked with contemporary rock groups Coldplay and the Red Hit Chili Peppers. This book contains Einaudi's arrangements of most of the pieces from his fifth album Divenire (2007). The pieces range from ethereal to relentlessly minimalist, and are very reminiscent of Michael Nyman ("The Piano"). Special import - please allow 2 weeks before shipment.
