Teach or perform this cha-cha style original with limited range and technical demands using little rehearsal time. Top note for the lead trumpet is only a third space C, and a D for the lead bone. Playable with only five brass. Highly recommended for beginning and developing ensembles.
About the FJH Beginning Jazz Ensemble (Grades 1 – 1.5): Appropriate for first-year jazz ensembles. Playable with as few as 3 saxes, 2 trumpets, 1 trombone, and rhythm section. Pieces consist mostly of ensemble writing. Written solos are provided along with suggested parts for rhythm section and drum set. Guitar chord guide included.
