This arrangement is for orchestra, band, or any sized ensemble accompanying any player using a W075013 Solo part. (To God Be the Glory) This setting is one of the concert finales used by Jerry Rodgers, Marine Band soloist (Ret), in almost every concert he presents. The solo part is demanding, but has been learned by good high school and college players for contests and ministry. (The solo exists for every orchestral instrument - go to your solo instrument and look for "To God Be the Glory" W075013). The orchestra parts are not difficult, but are complimentary to the solo and add to the total effect of the arrangment. The solos are not overpowered by the addition of the full orchestra, but are musically enhanced. Of course, it is possible to use any group of instrumentalists to accompany the solo part, since the solo and piano parts stand alone, without any additions. This is definitely a concert style arrangement, a concert finale. Still, the music works well as a ministry presentation in a church service. The listening icon presents a solo version at this time.
