This is the first woodwind quintet from a series written by Rich Heffler (Marine Band arranger) for a professional church woodwind ensemble, performing concerts. This title was first played at Camp of the Woods in upper New York state - a Christian camp which has the finest summer orchestra for Christian college music majors in the country. A Washington woodwind quintet is invited to play the final weeks of the camp, when the students break up the full orchestra in order to return to their colleges. The setting is complete with every slur and breathing phrase needed for each player. Rich, who is a great woodwind arranger, is meticulous in notating all dynamics and phrasing for the performers. Woodwind groups who get this arrangment, will be looking for the rest of the series. These will last a long time.
